I would use Miliput the fine stuff will hold almost as much detail & is much more wear resistant

Any guess as to how he did the "green sprig" with the view to making it "wargames resistant"? I have thought of a short length of brass wire imbedded into the hat and then building the sprig with some type of "green stuff". Would that ultimately be indestructible [i]enough[/i] for gaming?
