Yes, as my interest (style of uniforms) is ca 1685-1699 I am using the Williamite army as a starting framework for later expansion to The Continent.

Hmmm. Their sleeves are a little long for the 1670's but they might still be pressed into service for the Dutch war or the war against the Turks. Consider me interested :)

They look fantastic and will certainly be involved in some " all or nothing " charges I imagine.

Yes, quite definitely. Far from the rigid cavalry figures we have too often seen over the years.

2012's wargames budget is going to be a demanding proposition...

Cheers,

Michael

They can be used for any nation but the brief was to create cavalry:

> That were distinctly different from all other ranges available in terms of animation
> Who caught the 'flair' of the wild Jacobite charges and on which Jacobite fighting reputation in Ireland is largely built
>Whose equipment was not regulation. who were missing bits and pieces, whose coats were open and flowing, whose hair was longer and wilder, who were shouting and cheering. Clibinarium has caught all of that perfectly in these four sculpts.

They could be used for any nation - the Jacobite 'tag' was great for sculpting direction and inspiring for me to think about

hope this explains

They're pretty! What makes them distinctly Jacobite (as opposed to useable by other nations)?

I loved "The Flashing Blade"! Repeats, obviously. I still remember the theme tune too, can't wait to see these. :D
