Probably the best info on the army of Alexander on the web (for wargamers), is at Jeff Jonas' site.
http://www.ancientbattles.com/

He is also the man who wrote the WAB Alexander supplement.

You might find what you are looking for at

Or you can send him an email. He seems to know a lot about the Spanish army in the 16th and 17th C.

Hi David (Black)!
We bought some of the regiment packs from Venexia. Our main interest is also LOA, but we will use the regiments for WSS also, minus the pikemen

Unfortunately, I bought WAY to much lead on Salute, so it might take a while before we start our miniwars in the 17th C.

This year is the 300th anniversary of the Battle of Oudenaerde. To celebrate there is a large reenactment planned on the actual battlefield on the weekend of 12-13 july. Aound 400 reenactors are expected with infantry, cavalry and 8 guns. Also, there will be a few expositions concerning the battle, ...

I bought the rules last week at Salute, and they do look VERY good! I even got a friend to buy a rulesset, though he is an absolute novice on this period. We are planning some battles in the near future in 15mm. The first regiments are on our way! Graham (from Brussels, I believe?), what size figure...

Really wonderful! Very nice work.
I'm currently working on a Burgundian Ordonnance army (mostly Foundry) for Field of Glory, but I'm thinking about starting a French HYW Perry army later this year.

OK, here are a few of my pics. My ancient Greeks army, only a small part of them. I have around 450 of them, mostly Foundry, but also 1st Corps and some A&A. http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg242/Waaslandwarrior/AncientGreeks048.jpg http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg242/Waaslandwarrior/Ancient...

Wow, this looks like an excellent source for the Nine Years War.

At over 400 pages, I will need some time to read all those!

Thanks for the link.

After the show (Crisis '07) there is a gatering in the clubhouse. There you can eat as much as you want for the rediculous price price of 5 euro (around £3.50). You can also try the excellent and very famous Belgian beers for a low price, AND talk about our collective interests!

See you there?
