Let me ask. I've got someone asking me about the flags. I'll let you know which ones he is interested in. Thank you very much.

English Standards used at The Battle of the Boyne

I've done a search here on the Boyne and not found anything. Can someone tell me what the English Standards looked like for the Battle of the Boyne? Thank you.

This one is an interesting site for flags. The pics of the flags are better, to me anyway, than the warflags site. You'll be able to copy & print them (and photoshop them!) much easier. Here is the site: http://www.drapeaux.org/ It is in French, covers many countries and periods. It isn't complete b...

Dave, I guess it just depends! I like the 25/28mm figures for the detail and color they lend to the gaming table. I like the 10mm figures because they allow for larger actions on the same table space. I always prefer to build my forces at the battalion level even at the 10mm scale. I've just always ...

I've got a copy of 1870, They Died for Glory, Victorian Rules, and Les Gen Brave. I'm just looking for a good simple set and/or the best. I like 25mm but I'm leaning towards 10mm for this period. None of the above listed rules look like that handle 25mm/28mm very well. How does everyone else deal wi...

Franco-Prussian

Would you be able to extend your Crimean rules to the Franco-Prussian period? If so then how can we get a copy?

I would look into the Imperialist Enterprises line since you are in the Chicago area. It is suppose to have a fair amount of figures and the price is usually always right.

Barry, I'm very interested in getting a copy of your Napoleonic rules. I'm starting to paint up some of the Elite Miniatures 'Army of Italy' figures and I need a rule set for the 1790's Revolutionary period. How can I get a copy? Thanks and Happy New Year! 18th Century Guy By the way, those Elite Mi...

To be honest I love both FR and Dixon. If your going to focus more on the LOA/9 yrs war then I'd go with Dixon. They paint up oh so nice in not too much time either. Plus Dixon will have pikes while FR doesn't.

It was a great time at Historicon and I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet Barry & Lindsay. I look forward to any future conventions that we all will attend. Oh, by the way my son (Ian) loved Panzer Ace - as if you couldn't tell. That was the first game he's ever played at a Historicon and he's be...

Barry, Yes, it is called the Flea Market. You reserve a table in either a morning or afternoon session for $20 (I believe). I myself will have a table for Thursday & Friday morning - I'm attempting to sell off my SYW figures & 1806 Prussian cavalry so I can buy more LoA & WSS figures! 18th Century Guy
