Re: Gardes de Baviere & Gardes de Cologne

Not sure if I'm too late to this but I did find this image for the Bavarian "Life Guard" and Cologne Foot Guard.

Re: By way of an explanation

Barry, I have a R2E question, have you made a YouTube video about R2E and how a game turn will look? I've searched the intertubes but not found anything and I'd like to be able to point gamers in our group to something like that so they can get a feel for how the rules work and what to expect or not...

How ever big it is, it will never be large enough for the next game! That's just how gamers are.

Thank you sir!

I'm sure we'll have more as we play through them.

A few R2E questions

We were testing out the rules just the other day with some new players and a couple of questions came up. 1. Since charging comes after musket fire, can you fire and charge in the same turn? 2. If a unit's retreat path has it end up physically inside another unit, what is the impact on both units fo...

Jean 1806 Question

I've read that the Guard cavalry was not present at Jean and that the 1st Hussars were the horse guard for Napoleon. But I still see OBs that show the Grenadiers a Cheval, Chasseur a Cheval, and Gendarme d'Elite present. Which is correct? Was the Guard cavalry still en route to Napoleon at the time ...

Re: Spring Weekender 2017

There's a chance I might be able to drop in. I'll be in France through mid-April so the 31/03 - 02/04 is the best date for me. But do not reschedule just for me as I'll be in Tours and I'm not sure about any regional airlines that might be able to get me up to Scotland for an inexpensive price.

What games are planned for 2017?

Just wanted to ask what weekender type of games are being planned for 2017. Hopefully I can make one of them.

Re: Fire and fury in 28mm

We've used 20mm frontage and even 15mm frontage but I think using 20mm frontage for foot and 25mm for horse would be fairly standard.

Re: Help with 1806 Saxon Flags

So does that mean that the two images need to be switched to opposite sides? That way the cipher would be facing the staff.

Do I have that correct?
