I do like 28mm as I have a fighting chance of painting them to a standard that I like!
Looking forward to receiving the new ULB as I have just given Barry my address!

What about Foundry for the Marlburian Figures - it has to be an English Army, with some Scots Regts.

Jeff,

I forgot to mention that Vol 1 has some useful information on uniforms, and some cracking flags for several scales in colour for copying. Well worth it!

Go on, I'm used to ECW in 28mm, but I have just ordered ULB because it's a natural jump.

So what are the best scales - 28mm, 15mm - don't tell me 6 mm as I can't see them to paint! And whch manufacturer - tell me more.....

ECW Scenarios

Jeff, I'd go for the first volume - by Steve Maggs, The others are excellent, but complex and need a lot of terrain and buildings. Vol 12 can be used with nothing other than felt on the table. However if you have access to 16/17thC buildings, and an exceptional amount of terrain - you just go for it...

ECW in West Yorkshire

I am very new to this but have just started 'recruiting' a 28mm Parliamentarian Army. In a couple of months I need to use them in the field! I live on the Yorks/Lancs border - are there any potential opponents out there?
