Dragoons on Foot

Does anyone know of a company that sells 28mm French dragoons on foot? My search of the internet has proven fruitless. I am setting up a small skirmish project set in the Peninsula - kind of a Sharpe style fiasco - a handful of British rifles, some light troops, Spanish partizans, etc. I want to be ...

Some of you have taken the time to send me e-mail expressing an appreciation of my ECW collection shown on my website. I just want to post a note to say thanks and let you know that there will be regular updates to the ECW section as I add a pile of cavalry, as well as artillery and more personaliti...

I have been working on my ECW project. I have finished seven squadrons of horse that are awaiting basing. I'll be adding lots of new photos to my website in the coming weeks. I also have a couple of artillery positions I'm working on and a pile of casualty figures on my painting table to use as batt...

After your suggestion, I searched for "resin gabions" and I have found some resin terrain here: http://battlefieldterrain.com/index.html (but these were mostly 15mm - there is a 25mm Redoubt so maybe there's more to come). http://www.hovelsltd.co.uk/contents.htm http://www.magistermilitum.com/cm-sce...

Gabions

Anybody know a manufacturer who makes these for 28mm? I am trying to avoid having to weave tiny little baskets. I need some for my ECW artillery stands.

More ULB questions  1. Why do cavalry need to test morale twice to charge... once to initiate and once to charge to contact? They also must test if they suffer casulaties when a target stands and fires. Does that make three tests? Maybe there's a misprint or I'm reading something wrong? 2. Can...

ULB Command Question

When considering which units to move when a commander may only move a percentage of his force, say 50%, do you count squadrons and battalions or higher formations? OOB in four "divisions": Center Infantry Brigade of three battalions Left Wing Cavalry Regiment of three squadrons Cavalry Regiment of t...

Thanks, Barry! I have finally returned to my ECW project (it's only been six months or so) and have a pile of horse units lined up to paint: seven squadrons of horse, two squadrons of cuirassiers, and a mounted version of the foot dragoons already on my site. I've got three squadrons finished and am...

ULB mixed melee question

Hi, Barry! I've been messing around with the ULB rules and came upon something that is unclear to me. I understand infantry vs infantry and cavalry vs cavalry melees, but cavalry vs infantry has me confused. I see where cavalry rolls for kills and the benifits infantry gain from pike blocks, but I d...

Hi, Keith. I use precut bases from Litko (http://www.litkoaero.com/) because I am too lazy to make my own. These are laser cut so they are 99% perfect when you line them against each other. They are also very resistant to warping. After arranging the models on the base, I paint the base brown (I use...
