Re: First Schleswig War

I use Mirliton Austrians for my 1st S-H War Saxons. They were in Austrian style tunics in green, all else remained the same. Also their Austrian cavalry can be repurposed as dragoons for both sides. Eureka makes a dedicated Schlswieg infantry in the taller picklehaub. Several years ago Eureka also d...

Re: 15mm Franco Prussian War

Hi 18th Century Guy,

Still chasing FPW

I've repurposed a lot of my Prussians for 1866, and the 1848-50 Schleswieg-Holstein Wars.

As a long time fan of the Crimean War, I'm looking forward to the Alma Game using RtE. I think these are the rules I've been looking for. No disrespect intended, but, will the rules updates, Obs, command adjustments, game mechanics, be made available to the rest of us lurkers? :D  Thanks, Terr...

Artillery Limbers or Not

Do you paint artillery limbers and use them(on the table) in your games?

All comments/opinions welcome.

Hi, newbie here.

One of my favorite periods. Looking forward to more progress reports.

Will you use the RtE rules for Crimean?

Just curious about others perferred basing style for Crimean - Single or double ranks of figures on each base?

As posted earlier, all mine are in single ranks of 2 - 4 figs.

Thanks,

Austrian Battalion Guns-1792

Currently working on Austrians for the French Revolution period, using Eurekas 28mm.

Were their battalion guns crewed by regular artillery or soldiers from the battalion.

Thanks,

I assume the R2E 'model scale' and basing suggestions will apply.

All my Crimean figs are base in single ranks, 3 figs for British, French, and Sardinians, and 4 figs for Russians.
