2nd game of donnybrook

I've put a few pics up on my blog of our 2nd Donnybrook game, here's the link if anyone's interested http://thegreatitalianwars.blogspot.co.uk/ Again the game went well, however I don't think we've quite sussed how to do multiple combats against one figure, any help would be appreciated. cheers Pete

Re: Photo's of Efoe's - Donnybrook factions

Hi Efoe, very nice with the cavalry being especially so; thanks for posting. I've decided to go for Elizabethans in Ireland for my Donnybrook faction as I think the rules work well for this period. here's a link to my first painted but not completed units http://thegreatitalianwars.blogspot.co.uk/ c...

Re: IMPORTANT: TO ALL DONNYBROOK PREORDER CUSTOMERS

Compared to Empress miniatures who charged me over £11 for ten packs of figures to the UK the seven pound odd postage I paid for Donnybrook was a bargain.

cheers and look forward to receiving the book, Pete

Re: Battle of Flodden

Hi Ray, I'm glad the figure arrived in one piece. I've resized some of the the flags as the banner looked a tad small when cut from the sheet and 20mm for the square banners look's better on the table. My James II army got sidelined by the war of 1812 and likely to be delayed again by the Great nort...

Re: Battle of Flodden

Hi Ray, I managed to get the figure in the post this morning so hopefully he'll land in the next day or two. I've also placed a sheet of my 15mm wars of the roses flags in there and would appreciate any feedback; positive or otherwise.

Re: Battle of Flodden

Hi Ray, I was going to do Flodden in 15mm a few years ago but never really got started with it. However I did convert a figure to use for James of Scotland and if you want it you can have him. Just pm me your address and I'll pop it in the post.

Re: French Guard Flags

I've put a pic to the firelock infantry on my blog; here's the link; [url][http://jacobiteirish.blogspot.co.uk//url] and good news about the armoured cavalry command and the artillery figures. Does anyone know if there's any plans to make some 'militia types' as these would be useful for raparees et...

Re: inniskilling foot regiments (uniform/flags), 1690

hi, here's a reply I received from Richard Bennett researcher from the Inniskilling regiment museum which I thought might be of some use: Thank you for your email regarding information on the flags of the Inniskilling troops from 1689-1691. The Museum has a tightly wound flag on a staff which is pur...

Re: Copplestone Glory of the Sun range taken over by North S

hi, the difference is more pronounced than the picture suggests. some of the Front Rank officers are smaller than the rest of the range. The one pictured here and the officer marching with sword fit with Copplestone really well however some are huge; have a look at this link to see what i mean: http...

Re: books about battles of NYW

Hi, my copy got badly water damaged several years ago so a lot of the book is now illegible; I'm loathe to throw it a way though. I'll rake it out and check for you when finished unpacked after my house move.
