Re: All or Nothing Charge

Hi All, Just picking up on the thread, as I had a game today where we used the all or nothing with a few combats. The majority of my questions have been answered above. However could I get some further clarification on the following please. If the opponent doesn’t cause hits in the first bound, do y...

Re: My TWY Army (III)

Achim, I really must congratulate on such a superb army. From unit composition showing the depth required to make the formations credible. To the nice bright painting style which has taken the Old Glory range to greater visual heights. You have inspired me to blow the dust off my lead pile of Renega...

Warfare Wagon Construction and painting advice

Hello All, I've just received a plethora of Warfare Wagons and limbers. With regards to the metal components there are the four wheels, axle, tree's, tongue and three metal bars. I'm perplexed by the bars, one has a - which I presume is for the double tree. But what are the other two bars for? Does ...

Re: LOA Fitzjames Horse Need help quick...

Currently I'm painting a squadron of Warfare new cavalry as Nugents/Fitzjames. The coats are red with red cuffs, buff waistcoats and pants.
My real question now is what colour is the musician's coat?

Re: Suisse Courten

I left the Humbrol yellow for about a week, I coated the artist oil with white spirit on Saturday afternoon, and painted Sunday afternoon.
Acrylics went on without encident, would probably leave for a week before varnishing.

Re: Where is WARFARE range going next?

Hi Barry I think it's the vignettes that have always made the LOA armies standout. Having half of one stand telling a bit of a story, and breaking up the monotony of painting the rank and file. For the cavalry, horse and rider crashing to ground, dead horse and rider sprawled, rider trapped under de...

Re: Where is WARFARE range going next?

After just finishing reading my copy of BLB2 (great read). There are two situations that I think would really justify a special Warfare set. Firstly the cannon misfire, is a perfect opportunity to finally see a model of a destroyed gun & crew. That can either be used a misfire stand or added to a no...

Cuirassier DuRoi

Gents,

Just a couple of quick questions as I paint pre-1700 Cuirassier Du Roi.
Would the officer and guidion officer be in the regimental uniform or in clothing of their own choosing? And what colour are the riding boots buff or black?

Re: The First of Many

Looking good Paul,

The green really pops against the slightly subdued red.
Basing also compliments the troops.

LOA Fitzjames Horse?

As I eagerly anticipate the arrival of my LOA army from Dixon. I am slowly deciding on what horse squadrons to paint? I would like a variation of uniforms and colour, so was thinking cuirassier Du Roi, line (grey with red cuffs), and Fitzjames if they were in existence in this period? Having gone th...

BLB1 Infantry Melee

Hello All,
I've looked through the forum but could not find a post that covers this off.
Do infantry versus infantry cause casualties in a melee,or just test for morale on losing and being pushed back?
If they do receive casualties how are these calculated for both opponents?
