Ok so I realise the Horse can be used with some conversions ie - horse and Curassiers. Is there any use in the foot?

Thanks chaps its now on my to buy lists! Oh and a quick question from a noob is 24 a good size for Austrian units? as I am thinking of making my French units 16 figures strong.... I have to be penny pinching as I have 7 kids :D

Currently I have in my hot little hands Black powder and 4 boxes of the fantastic victrix Austrians :D . I like Black Powder but I do like to look at other rules sets - and I do like the look of republic to empire. So suggestions folks? Is it worth it for me to buy or is it to far over my head? I am...

Thanks so much for the advice chaps - I have purchased the book on cav and next month shall get the book on infantry (bit of a stuff up on my behalf! :oops: ). So quick question would the drummer for picarde have white stripes as the colonels colour is white?

wow 50 looks and no replys. I may be annoying but this is my first foray into this era.

Well first unit is now coated in Army painter. I am looking at basing them in about 12 hours :D.

What size unit should I look at for French Currasiers?

Warlord Games ECW cav conversions

As atm I am rather broke but have a surplus of Warlord games ECW plastic cavalry I have pondered their ability to be converted to late 17th century cavalry. Would this be a good decision? Also anyone done this already?
