Proxy server is a webpage that "cheats" pretending you browse from another country that actually you do.
You can find list here:
http://www.publicproxyservers.com/proxy/list1.html
All you have to do is to go the chosen proxy server webpage and type the web adress you want to access.

Off the top of my head: There were no grenadier companies in infantry regiments save the Kurprinz IR, but these were detached and joined .... (hmmm, I forgot...) There was guards grenadier battalion and also foreign grenadiers battalion (known by their famous commander, de la Colonie) but the later...

Re: Hall CD "Armies of Hanover, Celle & Brunswick 1670-1715"

With regard to Hanover we have found extensive, previously unknown, material both on flags and standards from 1674-1700 as well as very complete uniform information, especially for the period 1682-1694, while a significant document written by the Celle colonels documented the differences between th...

I even read the article "evolution of French cavalry tactic in wargaming" showing that in early 70's...

Re: Dragoons in Nine Years War

During this period did the horse charge swords drawn or did they trot pistols drawn, and then sword fight? They did both in the trot. Only Maison du Roi charged in gallop. At Neerwinden in 1693 French Cavalry at the charge with sword carried breastworks covered by Infantry. It's a myth. French hist...
