Thanks for the kind comments - much appreciated. Pikes are Vallejo Green ochre then highlighted with Vallejo Iraqui Sand. Muskets are (after my oil wash undercoat method - see blog) lightly highlighted with Vallejo Brown Sand (or Vallejo Medium Flesh - very thinnly - for a more 'obvious' effect.) I ...

I use enamels for the foot and horses but I also use a wide variety of acrylics for the horses to give a range of tones!

I use Foundry Buff Leather (7) A,B,C. This goes onto my brown undercoat (see method explained on blog for undercoating) and the brown acts as a perfect shade.
