Re: Bulstrode's Regiment

Grey, if I was to represent them specifically, as this seems to have been the main colour used in Essex's army at the time, but it would depend on how they were to be placed on the tabletop/display with neighbouring units. So Red is also possible! Are there any records of Bulstrode's at other battle...

Re: Bulstrode's Regiment

My interest is also re-creating armies in miniature with little thought given to wargaming! For me the 'fun' is researching, collecting, painting and (privately) admiring the results. Re: Jacobite Foot at the Boyne, pike to shot ratios

The info may be there somewhere on Ray's blog, but can anyone just provide a straight-forward summary or list? E.g. Antrim's 3 shot to 1 pike, or an overall ratio for the army.

Re: Williamite Foot at the Boyne, uniform colours

Graf Bretlach has, very kindly, supplied numbers for the Williamite forces. Has anyone got uniform information?

Has anyone got a simple list that they can share? I am sure that many members have researched the subject before.
