Command for Victory Without Quarter

I've been doing a lot of ECW lately for Victory Without Quarter. I painted Warlord Games' King Charles I and the Earl of Essex to be my Army Commanders. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-IrObSQhN4zc/U22JmD16GqI/AAAAAAAAEzg/t9hy96GPw18/s1600/King+Charles+(1).JPG http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-n75irDITnDA/U22JolXg...

Warlord Games Highland Clansmen

While painting units for my English Civil War project, I've been painting 3 to 5 Highlander Clansmen at the same time. Gripping Beast Saxons

I'm building armies for Dux Bellorum and I was wondering:

1. If Musketeer Miniature Saxon personalities are compatible with Gripping Beast Saxons (recently purchased Aelle and standard bearer).

2. Is the plastic Gripping Beast plastic Saxons suitable for Early period Saxons?

Thanks.

Re: Question about Trotters

Flick - Thanks. I am no way an expert on the ECW but I thoight I read that the charge would lose it's impetus when trotters slowed down tofire before closing with the sword. I think I might just test that. Thanks again.

Question about Trotters

Do trotters get the +1 for cavalry charging in melee? Thanks.
