Many thanks guys for the kind comments, Yeah, this time I wanted to introduce at least 3 different versions or shades of the same colour in the uniforms in order to add some variety and realism :)

Two Questions have occurred to me: The first one: While starting to paint a unit of Saxon I go to try Burnt Umbra as Primer which I noticed to work quite well with red - maybe with yellow too? Second: The length of your Pikes... are those the 10cm long ones provided by Northstar or did you cut them...

Very nice unit Gunfreak! Avanpost miniatures I see, great sculpts, maybe the horses are smaller than other manufacturers, but anyway, I hope they make more sculpts for cavalry soon.

Very nice. May I make a minor suggestion? I notice from the blog you linked to that many of the hats from before the 1700s are white/grey. So maybe make the hats that colour? I think it wasnt until around 1695 that some regiments had black hats in the Iberian regiments. Also you represented the cut...
