C.C.P.Lawson calls up the same quote, except 'long peaked caps'.
No explanation of what type this is, but says the 'Polish manner' means a long skirted coat.
What hats did Polish Dragoons wear ?? My Osprey book shows them in c. 1683 in cloth caps with a turned up fur lining.
