Re: First game so a couple of questions

hi chaps thanks for the replies Efoe you are absolutely correct I was trying to change the rules for close order (without even knowing I was doing it) maybe I should have given some background to the whole thing, basically I was introducing a mate to the rules, he is a keen Historical player and I w...

Hero Characters

hi chaps

I just wanted to check something, when a hero character joins a unit does it act in the same way as an officer character?

i.e. the unit uses the hero's ability dice for morale?

cheers

Re: Perfect timing

Abandoned by the wife and kids for my birthday (albeit with my approval), and the day looking void of anything interesting to do. I notice the postman out of my window and discovered my copy of Donnybrook has arrived. Oh happy day :) I told you it as good, now how are those dismounted dragoons comi...

Re: example card decks

Hi all Here are some links to some card templates I’ve created that I thought I would share as they may be useful to people, the templates are PowerPoint files and work for PowerPoint 2007 and above The general idea was to create a set of fairly generic cards that players could use to create a deck ...

Cheers Chaps well as I currently don't have any 28mm naps (other then my beloved Slaughterloo armies) I think I'll play around with the bases and see which size suits the figures but I'll probably go for 4 figs per base for infantry. as for period well I did pick up the new Talavera book by CS Grant...

Base Sizes for RtE

Hello Chaps it was nice to see Barry at Claymore and I'm really looking forward to getting my grubby little hands on the new rule book but I wanted to ask a question about base and unit sizes as I'm going to start painting up some armies soon so Barry without giving too away from the book are you ab...
