Dixon figs

Has anyone got any suggestions for which Dixon figs to use for the mainstream Irish Jacobite foot units, normal infantry figs in uniform or maybe the rebel/militia figs.

I forgot to play the capturing rule, but I think most of the cavalry on the Allied side would have loste theirs along with a good chunk of the French cavalry.
I would think the Danes were quite disgruntled with their handling by the Swiss so some retribution may appear in later games.

Excellent article Barry, will be fighting our first game using ULB this weekend at our local club, War of Spanish Succession using Austrian/Danish vs French. We will be using 15mm figs we've had for centuries. The figs are based for Koenig Kreig ( 4 figs to a base & 3 bases to a battalion(4 for Dane...

Jacobite flags

Guys,
I have a booklet from Editions Brokaw showing Malburian flags & uniforms for the french army including Irish units in French service.
Could I use these for my Irish Jacobite foot units, and/or are GMB seven years flags usable?

Mike,
if you go to the Foundry web site you can download a set of rules for the crimea, I've not used them, I use Piquet just now, you get a good game but it can take a while to set the game up.

Thanks Barry, This is a great period, still undecided to work on Glorious Revolution or later Irish Jacobite option. Would like to maybe work a battle into one of the Scottish shows we go to but always worried about some peoples stupid interpretations of period especially in west of Scotland :( david

Guys Just got hold of an old WRG book 'from pike to shot' and in the jacobite Irish section it states that St Ruth brought over enough material for 20,000 uniforms in a buff colour, although there is no proof that this material was actually used, do you think that it could justify some Irish units w...
