hi Lee. What colour for many do you undercoat ? Are you giving the paints a good mix. I've used Vallejo and army painter for many years over a black undercoat usually and have never had any problems. I often add a small ball bearing to act as an agitator with Vallejo. I'd second the foundry paints ....

Frontage is the most important thing. Each BLB cavalry unit of 6 figures represents 2 squadrons usually so to get a 50/50 split as a representation have 1 cavalry squadron per infantry battalion.

I saw the one man theatre company do war and peace at the Edinburgh Fringe a few years ago. His battle scenes were quite small.
The following year he did the charge of the light brigade.

Don't let the comments put you off . The programme is a broad brush approach, not made for us geeks. I thought that it was pretty good, a fairly easy watch and quite informative. A producer can never cover everything given that its just two parts spanning 75 plus years.

Thought that this was well made. I do believe that the lady presenter was in the same camp as Barry , the not a supporter of Marlborough camp.

Hairspray? Just sprayem and dip? Any particular "hold"?
Really like these. I have loads of seafoam and always think it looks realistic but have no real idea of how to use it .
