US PTO Marines

I just watched the pacific, and got total hooked on the PTO, so I had to buy some Marines and paint them http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp261/Gunfreak23/marines007.jpg http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp261/Gunfreak23/marines009.jpg http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp261/Gunfreak23/marines00...

Wow you got alot of space to play on, with those big battalions and roomy basing, Just to even get a modest 28mm battle on my table I base 8 figures to 50x50mm base, that means I get 32 figures on 20cm or 24 on 15. That means I have to overlook the whole company structire and just do it as a battlio...

Building my forces for RtE

I'm actualy building 4 forces at the same time, Natuarly a french, which I'm having a hard time with becasue you need so much of it, and I finde painting french and french is boring. To combat this I'm building some sort of suport brigades of bravarians and polish. At the same time I'm building an a...

Do you have recomeded 15mm ranges? Or is this something one should think out them self, I'm doing 28mm RtE, and 15mm GdB But as I'm gonna use my 28mm RtE forces for the od GdB game, I thought I might try the od RtE game with my 15mm, But while GdB has 28mm ranges in their rules RtE has none, and the...

Well, I'll try diffrent ratings and se how it goes, tho some of the sweetness of victory would go away if you had to down rate the enemy to get a good game, much more fun to get a real tough fight.

Well yes, I did think about combineing the units, but I like to have more units in brigade even if they are weaker, just becasue I like having a reserver. And it would only delay the problem, Either I have 4 24 battalions against 4 48 battalions, or I have 2 48 battalions vs 4 48 battalions, either ...

Unit sizes

Now I try and keep my units realstic sizes, which mean that my 1812-1814 french are mostly 24-32 stong, and my russians are almost all 24, as they have very small battalions in this period. But the austrians are all 40-48. So if my 24 stong french battalion meet a 48 stong austriasn, or if I do a wh...
