Re: New Danes and Prussians

I now have limited supplies of these but as yet have not had a chance to paint them all and put them in the shop.

If anyone wants to order any of the first 6 codes

Re: release date for these beauties ?

Hi,

I collected the masters fr the militia yesterday. I hope to have them cleaned by tomorrow, ready to go back for casting. That means we'll probably be ready to sell them in about 4 weeks! Hpe that is what you wanted to hear! 8)

Re: Mounted Dragoons with Fur Trimmed Bonnets

Hello Gordon, short answer is yes. No reason not to do that. Slightly more complex answer is when - it is not a big job but of course it has cost implications so I need to time it right. Getting a set of figures into production is not an insignificant cost so to keep the range profitable and moving ...

Re: BLB3 Playtest with Great Northern War

Looking at your table set up there Roger the Swedish infantry on the right could in my opinion, be in contact in max 6 moves, even with the slope (charge move 7 inches). There is also an uncontrolled advance rule for the Swedes under certain conditions. Obviously, trailing some stuff from the supple...

Re: Garde te Paard Question

whether true or faux a beige hat would not have stayed beige long on campaign. All you'd need was a couple of blow backs from your pistols to have a black hat!

Re: BLB3 Playtest with Great Northern War

Swedish movement in line is 6" and the Swedes can incline at half rate. In the supplement you will also see that one Swedish unit can 'double order' in any given turn by sacrificing the order of another unit. Swedish commanders should never be rated worse than competent. This will help straight away...

Re: New Danes and Prussians

This has been hugely frustrating for me (and you too by the sounds of it)

The back story will appear on the blog over the next couple of days but rest assured, aforementioned Danes, Prussians and Swedish cavalry are right now in the production moulding queue awaiting their turn

Well, thank you! 8) I didn't even know the was a poll!

It's nice to get that kind of recognition. The rules have been around for 10 years now and have not stood still so we can be well content with the achievement.

Re: New Danes and Prussians

Dear Kid ( 8) ) ! Good questions! here is the news: I am currently changing casting suppliers and moving all of our moulds (300+) about 200 miles to a new home. One of the main reasons for this is the lead time to create moulds - both master and production. I am looking for a lead time of circ 2-4 w...

Re: The adventures of Arthur Rawdon the ---- of the North

Interestingly Truls' word in question has, in Scotland a versatility I have not encountered elsewhere. It is often used as a kind of punctuation particularly in the West and South west. It can appear in a single sentence as many as six or seven times! It is definitely used as an insult. It is also u...
