Simply superb - well done. This has to be some of the finest painting I have ever seen.

Re: Klissow (1702) Refight

Kara.

I have just bought the latest Miniature Wargames and, as you say, there is a full article on the battle. Wonderful stuff - lovely terrain, well painted troops - really shows off what can be achieved in 6mm.

Re: New to the Period

Hi, I will be starting a new LOA army in 10mm in a few months and have taken inspiration from this thread : http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,7622.0.html If you are new to the period, perhaps look at a couple of Orders of Battle for inspiration. Even if you don't follow them exactly, i...

10mm English Civil War

Hi chaps, Just thought I would show you a few pics of a 10mm ECW army I am currently working on. The first shot shows a Royalist artillery position. To emulate the wonderful pics in the BLB rulebooks, I've decided to add planking under the guns. This was simply thin card, cut to irregular sizes. As ...

Re: Shouting at the Telly (Man in the Iron Mask)

>>Well actually, I just did write it! It's in WI last month I think! Hi Barry, I had read the article a few hours before watching the film and sent the post when I recognised an example of the instinct to mock you talk about. Taking the mick out of myself really. I must admit that I very much enjoy ...

Shouting at the Telly (Man in the Iron Mask)

Hi folks, You may have seen the 1998 film of the 'Man in the Iron Mask'. Not bad adventure story with some famous faces and included what (to me) seemed like credible French uniforms with ribbons etc. (Ducks and waits for rotten fruit). Anyway, the outcome of the plot leaves the real Louis XIV weari...

Lovely figures - lots of life and movement.

I would be interested to hear how you created the 'frozen' effect ? Just a very light drybrush ?
