Re: Sneak peek at some new sculpts

Wonderful! I hope Clib sculpts a lance for the standard bearer. This would make the command set perfect. It would be much better for this great figure to be seen carrying a standard on a lance rather than on piece of wire. Either way, though, I will be buying them.

Re: 3rd wave

I think that a while back you said that you were also going to have "French" infantry. Is that still in the plan?

I will be riding all three waves.

Re: BtLBv2 - Visual, game and rule effects with modified uni

I am thinking about basing my new Warfare figures (when I get them!) on three 60mm square bases, with two lines of four figures on a base and the pikes in the middle base. Will probably put a drummer and nco behind the two lines, still on the base. I am thinking about some free standing offcers to l...

Your Danes can be part of the Allied army at Blenheim or the Low Countries in the WSS or they can be with Prince Eugene ion Italy. Plus, the can fight the Swedes in Scania or Pomerania in the GNW. The Danes are the most versatile troops of the period, IMHO. Go Danes!

Swedish infantry had yellow, white, or even red hose. If the cuffs were yellow, the hose were generally yellow or white. Don't know about Sparre, but I would follow Hall in the absence of any other evidence, since it was in French service and may well have been supplied by the French.

Dan Schorr's website has great articles on the Danish Army in the Scanian War and WSS. Any cyphers in the 1690s would be "C5.". If you can't find a specific flag for 1690s, I would default to the Scanian War flag.

ULB 24 Figure Battalions

Barry, I am going to use ULB for the GNW using Musketeer's figures, if they ever get the rest of the Swedes and Russians out. For personal aesthetic reasons I would like to use 24 man battalions, with two musketeer stands and one pike stand for the Swedes. I suppose that I could just pretend that th...
