Re: Plastic WSS

Recently bought some allied w.s.s infantry and cavalry from warlord.the infantry is okay nothing spectacular but havn,t painted them up yet so they may look better after being painted. The cavalry to be honest give them a miss.

Re: Dragoons in fur hats - painting options

Havn,t seen the figures but bavarian horse genadiers, austrian grenadier companies of dragoons or dutch guard dragoons..but the above would depend on what type of fur cap it is.

Re: Swedish Dragoon standards

I would suggest that the drum was slung when they charged.you could ask the same of the russian dragoons who at poltava seemed to have been used as cavalry rather than the traditional dragoon role.

Re: Swedish Dragoon standards

Just had a check of lars eric hoglunds the great northern war 1700-1721.he mentions that both taubes and duckers dragoons the drummers had silver hat lace .also the bremiska dragoonsdrummers had the same uniforms as oboists.may be tacitus can confirm the above information.

Would love to see swedish dragoon standards produced as well. Would also be good if we had a swedish dragoon command pack as well.
