cross over period for headwear in French Guards

Hi All, a silly question, I facny painting up some of the EBor Garde Francais, but giving them pike too. My rational is that they are for a French Army circa 1698 ish, and bearing in mind the French would be in the van guard of all things fashionable, would it be reasonable to assume that the guard ...

Hi All, I apprecaite this isnt really the forum for 'British Grenadier'. I have a very nicely painted 28mm British Army based for the British Grenadier rules. The army is based on the order of battle for Guildford Courthouse. I moved to the West Midlands about a year ago, I havnt been able to use it...

Victory without Quarter- any news on the upgunned version

Hi All,

speaking to Barry last year at Derby, plans to upgrade Vicotry without Quarter were well afoot, in fact, I understood that they were expecting to release them within 18 months if not sooner- do we have any news on how the project is developing?

Very keen to get playing them

Re: New Marlburian range from Foundry

well I cant understand why they dropped the old range. These look ruddy awful- why cant the people who give figure designers a brief do it properly- what kind of pose is MB502- infantry advancing??? And what are those muskets supposed to be? The old range was far superior, this is just a waste of ti...

Re: New Marlburian range from Foundry

I checked the link above and the Marlburians looked alright to me. Are you sure you weren't shown the "Beastmen" instead?[/quote] nope, trust me, Ive seen them in the flesh now twice, some of the most bizzare looking muskets, looking like underbarrel shotguns, and postures that bear no relation to 1...
