Barry,

About three months have passed since you last posted an update here. What can you tell us about the status of ULBv5?

Any idea when we'll get to see it?

ULB v.5 -- Situation Update

Okay,

We are all eager to see the new version of "Under the Lily Banners". This thread is for Barry to let us know what's new.

Please do NOT post here -- let Barry have this for our information.

So, Barry, what's the latest?

While there are a lot of Old Glory figures that I like, I've also had many that had problems. I've got a lot of 19th Century "Colonial" figures from OG -- and a lot of them I like (for example, the Brits and Sepoys); but their "Natives" often have serious problems. There always seem to be some "odd"...

Maybe I caught it too soon after the site was back up. I don't know.

Anyway, as long as it is working now, that's what's important.

Okay,

Well, the forum obviously recognizes me -- it even gets my icon right . . . but still doesn't recognize my email address or password . . . weird.

Well, since I seem to be able to post I won't worry about it.

Barry, Glad to see the website back up . . . but it no longer seems to recognize me . . . and when I submitted my email for resetting my password, it said that there was no such address in its records -- even though both I and my email address are still listed in the Memberlist Did we all get "wiped...

Yes! Let's have ULB version 5.

I'm wanting to run a GNW scenario soon using ULB and would be delighted to see an updated version.

Go for it, Barry.

Barry,

Thank you for the reply. You were correct -- I misunderstood the way shooting worked. Thanks for clearing things up.

I've never played any Renaissance, but here is a link to a list of Ren Rule Sets . . . perhaps you can find something there that seems right to you (note -- a few are even online sets):

I hope that this helps some.

Well, I just ordered "ARMIES & UNIFORMS OF THE MARLBURIAN WARS -- Vol. 2" from "On Military Matters" and the gentleman on the other end was very helpful -- and the shipping from the States to Canada was quite reasonable. Now, of course, I want it to be HERE . . . *grin* . . . of course it will take ...

Andrea, One good place to download flags is: http://www.warflag.com/flags/wss/wssslouisselect.shtml (note the above should take you right to the French WSS section, but if you want anything else, simply go to warflag.com and then follow the links). There is also a French-language website that I (not...

Thinredline, Yes, I got a note from a gamer in Detroit that I'd put in touch with Rob. He has let Rob know about groups, conventions and stores in the Detroit area. And, yes, I agree with you. I'm appalled at the (to my mind) exorbitant price of GW miniatures. It is easy to put together a large hist...
