Roll on the entertainment guys
Actually Angus and Dougie, another club member who games with him could give you and Andrew a stiff run for the title.

You've not seen me and Jack together, and that's when we're on the same side :lol

David Imrie has many an enjoyable game laughing at us. Our last refight of Sarrbruecken was a prime example. Although it was all Jack's fault and nothing to do with me.

Dave No, damn your impertinence - I wasn't drunk - It was just that your post was rather confusing! You didn't actually say which game you planned to invite Jack to, Angus Angus, sorry for confusing you. I thought the subject title, November Cowboy Extravaganza would have been a clue  Cheers D...

Jack would be an excellent chap to make up numbers, although I suspect he'd be a natural French commander, and therefore not a proper gentleman. Angus Are you sitting in the pub sending this???????? What are you on about 'French Commander' we want Jack to come along to the cowboy game ...

That's because of your dice which only seemed to have sixes on it and a d10 that only seemed to roll 9's and 10's

November cowboy extravaganza

Gents, Colin and myself never got a chance to ask everyone at the weekend game so here we go. Colin and myself would like to invite Jack Glanville to this game as a one-off basis. This is a period that Jack is really into and we feel he could add a lot to the fun of the weekend. We asked a couple of...

Darrell, After seeing these figures at the club, all I can say is..these images do not do your work justice! Don't get me wrong they look great in the images but much better in real life. The research into the period is also very impressive, a labor of love I think? I would love to do something for...

As everyone else has already said, the weekend was fantastic and inspiring, especially Adrians fantastic terrain. If it wasn't for the fact that we already have so many Napoleonics I would be tempted to paint some but I'll just stick to my Anglo American 1812 armies. I hope General Blucher managed t...

Barry, what a great site I especially like all the info on the Thirty Years War. This is a period I've always been interested in but never really gotten into, which is a pity as I've got a 15mm French army painted by Aly Morrison sitting in a box having only been used once. I suppose I could mix my ...

Could I also ask Dave to bring along his 'rubber tracks/road' as it may be needed. Thanks Blucher Ja wohl mein General. Did I ever mention that my middle letter has a silent v and n at the begining and end? I also have a selection of barricades which I will also bring along. I assume we are using a...

Barry, sounds like you are being converted to the dark side of "skirmish" wargaming ! Peter, having seen him in action in our Back of Beyond games this shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. I think there's a secret side to Mr Hilton that he tries to lock away but I've caught him eyeing up our A...

That's a shame because the rest of us are staying in the Airlie

Look forward to seeing you both. Maybe Adrian's 'friend' Wendy might put in an appearance

Hi Kev, unfortunately the show is the same weekend my wife heads of to Arizona for her yearly sales jont. The two events always seem to match each other every year so until the kids get old enough to trust them on their own then I'll have to give it a miss. I do believe that Colin and Angus were tal...

The French are going to be AWOL in the main (600 pieces still to paint) If the funds are available, these may go to Fernando Enterprises. Bob, I will be able to borrow my mates FPW French which will also do for the Crimea. I think he has about 120 figs + I have quite a few to paint up. Cheers Dave
