Partizan 2

Gents, apart from Messers Hilton and Von Howe are any other members of the LOGW going down to the show? Mr Jack and myself are heading down stopping at the Newcastle show on Saturday, a night on the town in Nottingham then the show on Sunday. Hope to see some of you there.

Cheers

Hi, don't start me on another period. Well matbe I could paint up some brits or Russians. Any suggestions for WWI figures? Aly Morrison and Dave Andrews have started on 1914 period figures for their Great War Miniatures range of figures plus I can't really see past their figures for the late period...

Barry, this has been a major bone of contention within the club for many years and it has gotten to the stage that many club members don't help out at Claymore precisely because all the money is given away. I am one of those that don't help because of this issue and haven't done for years, if I thou...

The club have been actively looking for new venues for the last few years and the main problems have been cost, availability (especially during the festival) and ease of transport. A number of venues they have looked at have been suitable but don't give access on the Friday night for set up, an out ...

Kutusov certainly managed to see a lot more than I did mainly because I met up with friends from as far a field as Shetland and Wolverhampton and many places inbetween so it would be very impolite of me not to spend lots of time with them. But then that's just the toff in me, isn't it Barry? ...

Hi Barry, it's a pity you couldn't make it to the show as there were some rather nice display games, especially the one put on by Col. Schnapps and Sharnydubs, unfortunately Kellerman was also missing from the fray. I didn't actually get to the show until 12.30 and spent the first 2 hours chatting t...

I just gutted that I missed this one. as looking at Barry's and Angus' pics you all had a whale of a time, which goes without saying at these bashes. Barry you can be assured that I gave Coke a hard time at his wedding for his bad planning but I was very impressed with the village area in EK. ...

hi Try Dan Schoor site - Northernwars.com, has a section on the Saxon Army of the Northern War. Pabblo, thanks for that but I was already aware of this section and it is full of great unifrom details but unfortunately no flags. Simon, my mate from London has this book and is coming up at the end of...

GNW Saxon flags

Gents, does anyone out there have any info on the Saxon flags for the Great Northern War? I have been searching the web for the last week and have come up with nothing. I have found flags for the TYW and the War of Polish Succession but nothing for the period inbetween. I have ordered the Saxo-Polis...

I know I want to, probably against my better judgement, but you haven't answered my question about size comparison between MM and Foundry.

Musketeer Miniatures

Barry, how do the MM figures compare in size to Foundry? I've mentioned to D.I. that I already have 4 battalions of Hanovarians which can easily become Saxons with a flag change and a few figures added to each battalion and this could be the start of another period. I'll also need to get Angus paint...

When I checked their website they all looked as if they are not ready yet but I do see there are two packs which appear to be available.
