Re: Basic command structure of WSS unit

I like the 1 officer, 2 ensigns, 2 drummers, 1 sergeant option if you're going to bag them. I prefer being able to order them singly as well so i can add more ensigns or drummers to a unit without having to buy extra command figures. I really don't want to get into that 'wargaming figure' math if I ...

Re: Faces?

To me it depends on the quality of the figure. If the figure is sculpted to a very high level then I want to get all the detail I can such as Front Rank figures. But I've begun to notice that many of the newer lines are not focusing on sculpting the eyes in detail which is fine by me as I'll then ju...

Re: How I paint horses

I've used the oil wipe method for a number of years now and I really like the results as it gives the horse a sheen that I feel is more natural. But I have started to use another method with oils that I've picked up from a historical miniatures club I joined where they focus on 54mm sized figures an...

Re: Flags by Quindia Studios

I have a question for the Danish flags - will any of them work for the WSS or are they strickly for the Williamite period? If they are only for the 1690s will you (Clarence) think about doing them for the WSS period as well?

Thanks,

Greg

A quick review of Adolfo Ramos flags

I've done a quick review of some SYW flags that I ordered from Adolfo. You can view pictures of the flags on my blog.

I think the end product is top notch and can compete with any of the major flag makers out there.

1806 Prussian Musketeer Officer Saddlecloths

That is a long title/subject but I've tried looking everywhere to find out what the saddlecloth colors are for 1806 Prussian mounted musketeer officers. Does anyone know?

Someone must have applied a numeric sort order which will give you that result.

Re: Flags for Infantry of the Swabian Circle

Next question for the Swabians is for the cavalry. Any ideas for them? I'm trying to find on-line pics of the flags if that is at all possible. Thanks again.

Flags for Infantry of the Swabian Circle

Can anyone point me to a source that shows the flags of the infantry from the Swabian Circle in the WSS? I have the 'Imperial Austrian Army 1683-1720' CD and I see infantry regiments with the same names as those found in the Swabian Circle but I know that in some cases there could be two units with ...
