Re: GNW, Russians, Pskovsky regiment of foot

Absolutely stunning work! Love how your bases look as well. I wish I could paint this good.

Eureka 28mm Hungarian figures

I've painted up some more Eureka figures and they are a lot of fun to paint. These are from their 'Wars of the French Revolution' line and I highly recommend them. I already have one 'German' regiment and I really wanted to see how their Hungarian figures would turn out. I have only two complaints -...

Re: Danish Foot Guard

The Robert Hall plate shows the Foot Guard in a double-breasted coat with the ladder lace.

Re: The cost of wargames figures

If you can work up the flat postage rates then I'd say go for that. Much less headache then worrying about a distributor. You're a small business and if you're upfront about it I think most gamers will appreciate and understand it.

I guess I'm in the same boat as Gunter, where are we with the battalion guns question? What was/is the final verdict?

Re: The cost of wargames figures

Flick40, Front Rank does have a US Distributor - http://www.triangleminiatures.com/ but I've found that I can still get the figures cheaper if I order directly from Front Rank (or Elite Miniatures) even with shipping costs. So if you need just a one off type of order then you might try Triangle Mini...

Re: Finally finished my latest French Revolution unit

Don't think of the color as pink, think of it as 'rose'. :) Excellent painting on those equally excellent figures.

Re: The cost of wargames figures

To me the price does matter. I think it does to everyone. I was on this same board ranting about the high cost of Eureka figures not so long ago but when I finally saw the figures in my hands I realized that they were well worth it. But, I have to limit what I can buy from them due to the price but ...

Re: French Gensdarmerie query

Actually the coat color is blue but what you are making out to be white is the silver stripes in between the 'lace' bars. So it goes like this - lace bar, blue from the coat, silver bar, blue from the coat, lace bar...and so on. So you see very little of the actual blue coat due to all of the differ...

Help with WSS Brit Dragoon - Lloyd

I'm trying to find out information regarding the standards/flags for a British Dragoon regiment named 'Lloyd'. I've searched through what I have and I can't find a reference to Lloyd Dragoon's anywhere. Anyone?
