Seems to be accepted by Russian re-enactors as a valid position, and also by a Russian based figure manufacturer...

Fortunately I only have one regiment of the 'boys in blue' to model...

Then it will be a question of simply trying to fit in a few(!) defenders of Holy Mother Russia amongst my other projects! :?

Don't have my models immediately to hand, but I think there should only be two bars.
A solid one to act as spacer for the rear axle and one with a - in it to act as spacer / swivel point for the front...

Will try to get photo of underside for you.
