Adolfo Ramos flags - stunning

I just received the cavalry flags I ordered for my 1806 project and I find them to be stunning. They are beautiful. You can see all of the photos on my blog but here's a teaser - http://i833.photobucket.com/albums/zz252/jonpqgregory/DSC_0008-3.jpg My blog: http://18th-century-studios.blogspot.com/ G...

Question on 1806 Prussian Jager - mounting them

I've got a question on how to represent these units on the table. During the 1806 campaign the jagers were assigned by the company and the company was 200 men. That means 10 figures are available to each company but in the rules the lowest amount of figures listed for a specialist light infantry uni...

and another 1806 Prussian cav unit

Yes, since I have way too much time on my hands I'm painting away. I've got a couple of touchups to finish but otherwise the unit is complete. On my blog you can find some pictures of my latest unit - HR#1, the Gettkandt regiment. Here is a quick pic of it - http://i833.photobucket.com/albums/zz252/...

Photos of some 28mm 1806 Prussian cavalry

I've been painting a bit on my 1806 project and here are a few photos. More can be seen on my blog. http://18th-century-studios.blogspot.com/ A Saxon Hussar unit (just for Gunter!) http://i833.photobucket.com/albums/zz252/jonpqgregory/DSC_0008-2.jpg http://i833.photobucket.com/albums/zz252/jonpqgreg...

Re: Mounting cav figures for R2E

Gunter,

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, that 4 figure combat group is the interesting part for cavalry.

Mounting cav figures for R2E

I've got a silly question. Does anyone think there would be any issues with have an odd number of figures in a cavalry squadron? The reason is to stay closer to the listed OB strengths without going over them (in some cases) and by having a 7 figure squadron versus 8 figures then I would be closer t...

1806 Saxon Hussar question

Did the Saxon hussars carry any type of squadron pennant? I know they wouldn't have a standard or flag but did each squadron have some type of rally or recognition flag/fannion/pennant? I'm getting ready to start painting up this unit and I'd like to have something for each squardon if it existed. T...

Below is a link to the photos on my blog of my 1806 project and, naturally, I've started with Prussians. http://18th-century-studios.blogspot.com/ Here are a few photos from the blog and one of these days I'll learn how to get a brighter picture as well - http://i833.photobucket.com/albums/zz252/jon...

Gunter,

Yes, I do look at the forbidden site now and then. :) I'm just hopeful that this group can get things going with their line of figures.

New 28mm 1806 Prussian figure line starting up

I found this somewhat buried on TMP and was surprised that it didn't get more home page time as there are pictures of some figures. From what I can tell this is a group of people in France who are attempting to start up this line and are using Indiegogo to help them get started. Here's a link to the...
