Texas Gamer,

You can help us out a bit here by ansering a question or two.

"Do you have any particular army (or nationality) that particularly attracts you?"

"Do you have any battles or campaigns that particularly interest you?"

In my area we have one small local convention each year . . . with only one historical game (and that has been Napoleonic). Be happy to have a choice of good shows, gentlemen . . . because the alternative is no fun.

Canada Post slipped up and actually delivered my copy of BLB today . . . only eleven days after it was mailed . . . that is very quick for them.

I haven't had a chance to look it over yet since it just arrived . . . but I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning.

Yes, I'm wondering how the average gamer would reach the center of an 8' wide table . . . not to mention one 12' wide.

My mind boggles.

I do a lot of my painting with one or more friends over. We don't have any music on, but do end up discussing a lot of painting techniques and other gaming and historical subjects.

Clarence,

Some of us (myself included) are not at all interested in that Napoleon fellow.

By the way, we will be playing another "Victory Without Quarter" game later today.

Oh oh, Barry. Repeating yourself is one of the signs of aging.

Jim, I'm in Canada (so I won't be going) . . . Barry has posted that HE will not be selling at shows -- although some traders will be -- but whether or not they'll be at that show I have no idea. Best thing to do if you know you want the rules is to order directly from Barry using PayPal or mail . ....

Congratulations, Barry. It must be very satisfying to have your "baby" become a reality.

I'm looking forward to seeing it . . . but I'm sure that your holding it in your hands is even more exciting.

Barry,

Please keep us informed. The only British magazine that I get is BATTLEGAMES . . . but of course I can always pick up a single copy of one of the others IF I know you've got a BLB article in it.

Barry,

Great news! Of course knowing Canada Post (not to mention Customs), I'll be lucky to actually see my copy before May . . . and I won't even specify the year.

Canadian postal rates are very high . . . they need to be in order to pay for all of the storage costs the mail accrues.

Barry,

I believe that I've mentioned to you that I'd like my copy autographed . . . I wouldn't be surprised if some others felt the same way.

Is there any sort of provision for this request?
