Re: White Uniform Regulations (French)

Following Napoleans' second decree of 25 April 1806 that the basic uniform colour was to be white of which there were twenty designated regiments only 13 recieved the new uniforms. Re: 3rd Bn Pskov Infantry Regt - 1812

They're so horrible, you should post them to me immediately for disposal, and I shall keep them out of the public eye . . . yes, that's it :D

Quite well done. Should be a rather smashing division once you're finished with it!

Re: Murawski Miniatures Polish

Are you going to finish the cavalry brigade and paint up the 14th Polish Cuirassiers?

Oh God yes, it's quite amazing.

A few of the long-standing blog with campaign storylines should think about doing something similar.

Re: French 1672 - First Figures

Oh, those are dreadful. Send them to me immediately, and I will ensure they never see the light of day :D :D :D :D </*tongue firmly in cheek>

Are you buying the battalion packs, or creating your own from individual packs? Also, how are you doing the flags - are they self made, or purchased?

You have absolutely nothing to be worried or ashamed about. You're doing absolutely spectacular work. That silver edging to the belt came out perfectly!

Re: Battle of Jankau 5th March 1645

That's one hell of a Thirty Years War collection. It reminds me of the old days, several gaming groups ago, before the ECW collections scattered to the four winds.

What rule set were you using?

Re: French 1672 - First Figures

You've done an excellent job with the Northstar 1672 line!

I've generally not been a fan of the French in a helmet (the uniform, NOT the figs) but now I am a bit tempted to get my own!

I'm interested in seeing this progress!

I have two blogs on my blogroll who are doing the Italian wars, and they're quite an eye candy treat. I can't wait to see how yours come out.

Re: 1st royal Dragons Waterloo

Ideally, you would be using a Dragoon figure with the helmet in an oilskin, since Waterloo was damp, muddy, utterly miserable piece of ground that would make a right royal mess of your horsehair plume and get you bawled out (and docked for damages) by your commanders. Since Front Rank Doesn't make t...
