New Russian Regiment

I have just finished painting a second Russian unit for my expanding GNW collection, these are painted up as the Butyrski Regiment, the figures are the new Warfare figures wearing a Kartuz,

Great to paint, just waiting on Flags.

They have been painted for a little while, but here is my second regiment of Jacobite Dragoons, painted as Carrol's dragoons, figures are Barry's new mounted dragoons which are a pleasure to paint. My only problem was making sure I mount the officers on the right horses, most horses have one pistol ...

The Cuff's are of a older style and up at the elbow, however they are not so noticeable as with the infantry, still very nice figures though.

that said, I will probably wait for Barry to release them.

Tricornes are to late for the period, every illustration I have seen has them in either traditional headgear or soft hats. Tiebacks were also a later evolution of the uniform. Please see preceding post for uniform drawings
