French Napoleonic Hussars pillow fight

Just posted some pictures of my latest Napoleonic command stand on my blog. It is a bit of a break from the usual strictly military subject for these: http://dhcwargamesblog.wordpress.com/2013/12/22/french-napoleonic-hussars-pillow-fight-analogue-hobbies-painting-challenge-entry-2/ Enjoy and a Merry...

Napoleonic game shots

Just put some pictures of a Napoleonics game we began, but decided to call of last night after getting entangled in our own discussions (which will eventually result in some questions in coming days). We will start anew soon and then it will be pictures plus a battle report. Anyway... here is the li...

Some SS Infantry (Victory Force 28mm)

Of movement trays and sabots

Not sure if this is of any interest to people, but I have given some thought to sabots for light infantry skirmishers. Essentially I am basing my skirmishers on double hex bases. I the beginning I had planned to do the same with the light infantry regiments and paint regular stands for them (4 minis...

Re: Brandenburger Hussaren (Calpe 28mm)

Thank you guys! Yes I know, these are still more detailed than the average mini, but I still would have loved to put a little more detail into these. But even if I was to rush everything, I would still have to spend decades to get through my lead mountain. I should paint some Saxons soon, but I gues...

In that case I really hope our tables are close to one another. That way I could always yell a friendly "Oi Barry, how does one handle this again?" at you from time to time! :P

Re: R2E demo at Crisis, Antwerp [Belgium] 2nd Nov. 2013

If anything I suspect I might be the one to ask the tricky questions!

But I am really looking forward to seeing you again! Will you be hosting a game of your own again this year?

Cheers,

Burkhard
