Questions re BTLB rules

Greetings! We did our first try out of BTLB at our club yesterday, http://herkybird-richardbradley.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/post-thanksgiving-turkey.html - and had a few difficulties understanding the rules! (1) Do units which contact another unit at an angle align elements by rotation or sideslipping...

Re: French ammunition wagons and limbers.

Hi again!

I have gone for a fetching dark green on my wagon, and have sent off for the cannonballs from redoubt - as well as more random junk to go on my field gun rear areas.

Thanks again for all your help!

Thank you so much! - I would have hated to put my figures on the table to be poo-pooed by a more informed observer!

Thanks for the info on the cannonballs too - much appreciated!

Were they Red, with black metalwork like the guns, natural wood, or something else? Incidentally, does anyone know if anyone does pile...

Re: Suggested size of games?

Thanks, thats what we were planning, just thought it would be good to ask experienced players! We are all doing a guard unit so we can see the differences in the rules between the different qualities of troops against each other. At the rate I am painting though, 1 brigade is a long way in the futur...

Suggested size of games?

Greetings and salutations! Just joined the forum and am painting figures before I play a game. What size force would make a good playable game in approximately 4 hours? I am doing WSS French: How many guard and elite units would play best, I surmise about 1/3 from the rules? Rules look good! - Can't...
