Warfare do a set of figures which have apostle infantry packs So could use those for the earlier period but depends how accurate you want your French... they tended to have short sleeves to their coats and what look like strips of ribbons on the shoulders abit like epaulettes... maybe Warfare will b...

Plastic WSS

Hi does anyone have the plastic WSS figures? Just wondering on people's thoughts as if there good/ok/bad or stay away from them I was just thinking of getting some or not bother :-/ Just looking seems you can do flappy hats or tricornes, pikes even but I don't see any bayonet scabbards though? Unles...

Always amazes me this period as things that went on would seem crazy this day in warfare... imagine regiments of say Germans or Japanese in WWIIi fighting once captured for the allies!... its as if once you were a soldier you fought for who you were told to and and top brass would sign your life awa...

Yes I am :-( so many uniforms to try to remember.... I was right at 1st red coats then doubted myself I knew I had seen a blue coat horse somewere think they have lobster helmets on as well I thought it was Guards

Yes that's the one nice picture.... I forgot was the household cavalry in Blue coats? and also Red coats? Same as the modern household cavalry otherwise my info is wrong it would be blue coats richly embroidered in gold and silver with royal cypher JR If so oooops my mistake

Hi I think the uniform wouldn't have changed that much from 1696-1700 the rank troops probably lost their shoulder ribbons by 1700 but apart from that it would be the same also the webbing changed from shoulder strapped cartridge pouch to just a waist belt with sword bayonet and cartrage pouch attac...

Hello I would like to know if anyone can help with ink shades so a few questions 1 best inks for shading? 2 which ink shades are best for Red, Blue, Grey, Yellows and Greens? I think they were the same usually a sun in splendour with flue de lyse and clouds with lightning and various mottos like nec pluribus impar in ribbons or other noble family mottos, the guards look like country scene paintings rather than flags!
