Have you seen the rules "Maurice" by Sam Mustapha? They have a set of cards and I thought that that would be the ideal way to go with BtlB.

Gentlefolk, I have always suffered from OCD when it came to wee sodjers. When I fielded my eight-pounder battery in the last one-day event I knew that the guns were based on a 50mm frontage. I have got round this by adding three 13mm-wide spacers to the battery so that it is now as near as damn it ...

Dave, Thanks for the kind comments. I actually did some research on this and there were Hanomag ferried troops attached to 1st Panzer Division in both Poland and France and were called Panzerschützen. There weren't very many and, as you said, most divisions only had a company of them but I believe ...
