Gents Yet another fantastic game and weekend. Much praise must be heaped on Charles for a really well thought out and executed game. Tremendous Spanish Town and as a 'fellow Builder' i can appreciate the levels you have gone to for such a stunning result. I think that as the quality and detail of ou...

Charles/Gents

I'll be able to bring my box of 'barricades' and 'such like' on the train.

Between Bob and myself we will have more than enough, so save any other 'Gents' worrying about supplying!

Looking forward to it, as always.

'WITNESS TO REBELLION'

Fellow Gents Without turning 'our message forum' into EBAY (and its the first and last time i'll enquire like this through the site) but I wonder if I could 'pick the brains' of you, my 'Northern Cousins'. I'm getting ready for a 'clear out' of wargaming odds and ends (for sale at Falkirk in May). I...

Could someone please explain whats going on? It seems that i'm part of a bizzare.........'.......Carry On Up The Highlands.......' Anybody object if I bring along 'Babs Windsor' who would love a game with Colin's 'Cathouse Schoolgirl Ninja Hussy Unit', (if he's finished painting the 'fishnets' on by...

Dave/Colin, count me in 'pardner's' (you just know it's going to be a weekend of 'puns and inuendoes' - what could be better!) and I'm happy to go with the 'concensus' on Jack. If there are any 'Injuns' could I please be considered for this role because my memory of being a 'double dealing schiester...

Sorry I hav'nt posted a message yet......but I've just finished unloading the car!!! Firstly I'd like to thank all of you 'Gents' for your fantastic participation and 'spirit' in the way the game was played. As you know, it was mine and Kev's first 'big game' as organisers and umpires- your toleranc...

Bob/Gents Thanks for the 'update' and checking with The Airlie. I'll see 'The Thursday Helpers' on '......Thursday.........' and the rest of you Gents on Friday. 'Approx Timetable' for Friday: Hopefully 'FULL GAME SETUP' by 8.30pm (this allows for Peter Nicholson's French to be 'force marched' down ...

Gents Firstly and most importantly, Charles, hopefully I speak for all of the Gents, with regards to your 'early departure' and confirm that the 'Highland Park' compensation will help our limbs recover! With regards to the kind offers of help on 'the Friday', on behalf of Kevin and myself, can I tha...

Gents Just on an 'obscure point', could I please ask any of you that have 'portable lighting?', such as spot lights/floodlights, or equivalent, to consider bringing them along. If you remember the 'new management' at the 'AIRDRIE' have blocked up the windows and it was a 'bit dim' up there last time...

All of 'the players' nationalities will be revealed on the Friday night. The only thing that I can promise at this stage is that ALL players will be either French OR Prussian.
As you all know already the Umpires are 'Prussian', and who knows what Kev and I have planned for the rest of you!

MARCH WEEKENDER - LIGNY

Gentlemen With time moving quicker than a 'routing French Old Guard Regiment' (snigger!), I thought it time we had a 'roll call'. I've taken the trouble of 're-listing' (below) the 'original players' from the 'aborted' November game. If any of you Gents can not now make the game, please 'post' messa...

'Count' Von Hilton Your 'Prince' is proud and pleased with yet another 'demolition of the French Scoundrels'!! It would seem that we must do one of 2 things for the Ligny Campaign to make it an 'equal encounter' and to make sure the game will actually last 2 days! We can either 'half' the Prussian f...

The show is Sunday 3rd Feb at York Race Course.

Good chance i will come across for the day as usual, Kev. I'll drop 'The Taliban' and 'Little Taliban' at the 'Designer Outlet Centre' on the outskirts of York and meet up with you in Vapartnak. We can discuss the 'final points' of Ligny.
