Thanks. Yes, I have read through and am now gazing at the charts. If I am looking at it right later armies sacrifice saves (no pikes) and hope to repulse by fire (add musket bonus). Allies appear to get a lot better too. I haven't bought my armies yet, but I have a good start with some foundry/dixon...

Are there any modifications to the game for use in the WSS? I got the rules just yesterday and see the biggest difference is no pikes. Does this effect melee outcomes much? Thanks.

New to the period and have a few questions.

What FR figures should I use to represent Imperial and Prussian forces for the WSS? I am guessing the Dutch castings for hatmen and horse??
French castings for Bavarians?? Thanks.

Also can the BTLB rules be used unmodified for WSS?
