Re: The cost of wargames figures

A bit like yourself Jim, if I want them I buy them regardless but I do restrict what I buy these days to what I can hope to realistically paint within the next 6-12 months. It helps to keep the lead/plastic pile down. As such I dont buy anywhere near as much as I used to. And my stocks of unpainted ...

Re: Derby October Grand Alliance/WSS

Just goes to show which side God was on ;)

Another thoroughly enjoyable weekend, so thanks to the guys for organising and to all those taking part.

Think Andy has covered the main items we discussed after the game, along with some of the ideas to offer alternatives.

Re: Raising an Army

Yes, they had 2 colours, the Kings colour and the regimental colour.
The Kings colour is the union flag and should always be on the right hand side of the unit if looking from behind the unit.

Re: Raising an Army

I put 4 light and 4 grenadier in every battalion. Apparently the light and grenadier companies were kept more up to strength than the centre companies.

Bill,
'Mininatur' did you get from http://www.mininatur.de ?

And if yes which codes did you use?

Thx
Günter
Gunter

The codes are 737-22 for the grass tufts, 726-22 for the red/white tufts and 731-24S for the strips .

Re: Saga Scots Warband

Also the purplish ones are not tufts as such, they are the strips they make, roughly cut and stuck ...
