Re: French Triple Barrel Gun

18th Century Guy,

I have only had one order with him, but he was great. I, too, hope his health problems are not serious and will quickly be put behind him.

Re: French Triple Barrel Gun

Greg, I agree -- I ordered from him in June and he was very helpful. I an odd way I also enjoyed the entire "old school" ordering experience -- writing to request a catalog, pouring over the xeroxed catalog with line drawings, filling out an order form by hand, and mailing a check. Then checking the...

Re: French Triple Barrel Gun

I have recently heard that the owner of Imperialist is closing and selling the business due to health reasons. This is too bad -- I just picked up some of his figures in a sample order (a battalion of Prussians, squadron of Bavarian cuirassiers, and some samples including some very nice Palatinate i...

Re: Old Glory, but which ones for French?

Chas, The following comes from a file I downloaded from the Blenheim 2004 Yahoo group, which I believe in turn came from an article in MWAN by Charles Sharp(e). BTW, Chas, if you are still looking for a catalog for the Imperialist Enterprises WSS range (I saw your post on TMP), let me know as I have...

Re: American Halftracks in 28mm

I believe VFM are 1/48 and so are quite a bit larger than most of the 28mm on the market like Artizan, Warlord/Bolt Action, and Crusader. But that means they would be perfect for the Corgi halftracks.

Barry,

Will there be a US retailer? I know Eureka USA carries RtE (
Got mine from him) so I hope he'll be carrying BLB2!

Thanks.

As the original poster, I feel somewhat badly for have stirred up things on the forum... my intent was to alert those who like the rules to share their enthusiasm. I did not realize that TMP was such anathema here or I would not have mentioned it. As an eternal optimist, I take a more positive view ...

My ultimate reason for taking part in the poll and noting it here is the hope that RtE will become more popular is the US where I live. Currently my gaming circle for the rules is just one other person (although we are both very happy with them) and we would love to see more gamers here use RtE for ...

Hi, Barry and Ray. I know that the polls are a marketing tool for TMP. Having said that, a lot of folks do read them and comment. So my hope would be that RtE gets a lot of high marks and good comments which will help spread the good word about the rules (at last glance more than 40% haven't heard o...

Poll on The Miniatures Page

I just thought I would let forum members know that there is a poll on The Miniatures Page that asks TMPers to rate RtE on a scale of 1-10. Although I have only recently started playing RtE, I really like it and so gave it a 10. I would encourage those who are so inclined to cast their vote (hopefull...

Thanks, Roman the Librarian. This is helpful. I think I will mount one of the centre companies as a base of 2 and base of 1 as well as the grenadiers and the 3 individually mounted lights. I can then pull of 2 center company figures as the formed reserve and send 1 with the three lights as the skirm...

Thanks, Burkhard! It sounds as if I will be safe if I mount the two flank companies as individuals. I can then use 2 skirmishers from each from the light and grenadier companies!

Cheers,

Mike

British Skirmisher Question

I am mounting my first battalion of Perry British line for R2E and have a question about skirmishers. I am mounting the 30 figures on 3 figure stands but want to mount 6 on individual bases to be able to send them out as skirmishers. I assume that the 3 light company figures would be part of the ski...
