Re: PLAYTEST GROUPS - THE JACOBITE WARS

Hi Barry We tend to use our house rules 'Wild Geese' from the LASW suite which have been around now for about 20 years - where did that time go? However we often venture out and use other rule sets, we have BLB 1 and 2. Ready when you are. Regards Tim 'Like a Stone wall' Wargames Group Nottin...

Re: PLAYTEST GROUPS - THE JACOBITE WARS

Barry Mole and I (and therefore I suspect many of LASW) are keen to assist. You have 'beaten us to the post' with this project and as like minded bods we are more than willing to help where we can. Sadly I am afraid we can only put about 300 units on the table !! Regards Tim 'Like a...

Re: New ebor WSS mounted officer and dolly size comparison

I guess thats clear enough then. Will attempt to get then on this site and ours asap. Regards, Tim 'Like a s...

LASW Assault on the Schellenberg - Worlds 2004

All Whilst picking up progress on the Ebor figures thread (page5) I thought I would dig these pics out from 2004 when there were few of us into this period. Enjoy! Re: New ebor WSS mounted officer and dolly size comparison

Ray Forgot to add - I already have those 4 Hesse units as we had them on the LASW game The Assault on the Schellenberg at the World Championships about 7 years ago. Sadly it was one of those games that didn't get best in show that year despite a lot of effort with the terrain. Perhaps not enough int...

Ray
Will you be using these new figures from Ebor for those 5 units then? The unit packs offer great value for ULB2 units.

Re: WARFARE MINIATURES 28mm LoA RANGE

Barry,

Nice pics of your new painted WM units - I particularly like the Irish pike militia.
Can you advise who is the manufacturer of the pike staff/tassels on their flags please?

Cheers

Re: Sedgemoor display game to be shown at Derby World Champ

Dear all, As promised a few pics of the Sedgemoor game at the Worlds this weekend. Incidently the game picked up our 9th award of 'Best demo game of the show' at the event in the last 16 years. Well done to Nick and Rich in particular for this fantastic feat. Enjoy! Regards, Tim 'Like a stone wall' ...

Re: New ebor WSS mounted officer and dolly size comparison

Well said Dfogleman2, and that was exactly what I was trying to explain. Horse squadron's would never be carrying their carbine in their hand in the first place, and for some not even their pistols. I agree with you Arthur on the question of Front Rank figurines, but for me the detail and clean scu...
