Re: Spanish Infantry Colours During War of Spanish Successio

Well, first test figure for Tercio de Zuniga.

Because I'll never paint any figures for this period.......
(note photography is even less of my strong suit than painting)

Re: The Road to Perdition II

Looks fantastic Jim. I do like the batteries deployed with all the paraphanelia.

Should get back to doing some more of brits soon enough I hope!

Spanish Infantry Colours During War of Spanish Succession

Now I am a mere neophyte in this area, and mainly just a passing interest from reading the forum here, but it struck me that there is very little info on the uniforms and colours of the Spanish in Flanders given the main conflict in the era is named after them? I did a little bit of digging but most...

Re: Lundin Links Weekender Summer 2012

They did reach the crossroads with a cuirassier regiment and 2 dragoon regiments. Who promptly routed :) End of the game, the 95th rifles were just forward of the crossroads, a very shakey KGL battalion had rallied right on the crossroads, and the Camerons had rallied on the ridge on the 95th rifles...

Re: Mondays Game

Bill, I know that question comes a bit late  but may I ask if that terrain was made by some kind of 'cloth' you laid over hills? I thought to see something on one of the first pictures that points into this direction. Thank You Günter Hi Gunter, yes its from Terrain Mats http://terrainmat.com...

Re: Lundin Links Weekender Summer 2012

Cracking weekend as usual. Thanks again to Barry for organising.

As for items of note the Cumbernauld (Cumberland) Hussars actually making combat, even if it was to instantly rout :)
Wellington survivng 3 rounds of close combat as he was helping the KGL rally.

Cheers

Bill.

Re: Mondays Game

Thanks chaps. I'm still not sure on the ease with which a drilled French column can sweep a veteran British line battalion away. As has been previously discussed, some sort of -ve for trying to charge home against a steady British line might be appropriate, but the game was still enjoyable. Its prob...
