The answer is i,m afraid that no one really knows .information on actual uniforms of the jacobites is very hard to come by.there is only information on a few infantry regiments and two cavalry regiments.

So would the entire regiment have worn the fusiler cap or was it just the genadier companies .as there seems to be a difference in opion in some publications about the headgear.baccus shown them wearing a tricorne in their uniform plates.pat condry has them having white lace .but i dosn,t specifie i...

Sorry just need to clarify a point .you speak of light companies .but as far as i can remember british infantry didn,t have light companies during the war of spanish succession. Think it may have been the war of austrian succession or seven years war they were introduced.

There was 3 articals on the battle of lund in miniature wargames in the 90,the articals cover uniforms ,equipment ,flags and orders of battle. Can,t remember the issue numbers of my head.

I base my wss on 3 60x60 mm bases plus a 3 figure command base.seems to work pretty well..

Just a pity we can get these books in english.don,t fancy being a publishing mogel by any chance mr hilton.
