Re: Great Northern War Range

Dear interested Friends, Sensible planning maximises the options, speed of production and minimises cost. ...you get 60 investors it is coming down to about £400 each. There could also be 'levels' of investment allowing different contributions to access different levels of return. The £400 each is ...

Re: WARFARE PRIVATE COMMISSIONS - WHAT INTERESTS YOU?

Hello Michael, There are battalion packs for the apostle chaps but I just haven't photographed them and put them on the site yet. They are described somewhere though... just can't remember where  I assumed there were answers elsewhere, sorry, thanks for the info. There is an 'at the ready' (n...

Re: WARFARE PRIVATE COMMISSIONS - WHAT INTERESTS YOU?

We are currently doing more cavalry dollies and as you've probably seen with the Cuirassiers, we are doing all of the headgear to cover 1680-1720. This means the newer cavalry will have both hats and tricornes and probably French shoulder ribbons. The Gendarmes and Gardes du Corps will doubtless fe...

Re: WARFARE PRIVATE COMMISSIONS - WHAT INTERESTS YOU?

Mark, thanks for reminding me about that :D Yes I did! Michael, it has been on the to do list for a while. I will hopefully get some progress on that front over the break. I have been trying to think of the most useful/imaginative way to do it in terms of battalions construction. I have finally(I t...

In case anyone was thinking this had gone to sleep, far from it. Hopefully there is enough meat here for you to get your teeth into and a reassurance that I am not just playing about with this range  Barry: Wonderful news, am still fully signed up on the GNW myself. Not that anyone should hav...

First pictures of my latest project: the Savoyan army of Vittorio Amadeo II. 1689 - 1697 (Nine Years War in Italy) Hello: Very nice stuff. I have been "keeping a candle" for the Savoyan Army since the mid-late 70s when "Armies and Weapons" magazine's fold-out in a particular issue was a full-colour...
