Aha! Giving me a 'sporting chance' of finishing my 7th Division before yours are done, then? Bravo!

Re: Switching to Humbrol Matt 33 For Undercoating

Back in the day, I formerly used a 3:1 ratio of Humbrol to white spirit . . . but I've been undercoating with acrylic gesso for the past 7-8 years. Hopefully someone with more recent experience can suggest their 'formula'. :)

3rd Battalion, 11th Jäger Regiment ~ 1812

The 3rd Battalion of the 11th Jaeger Regiment joins my Russian 7th Infantry Division today, completing the twelfth and final ‘formed’ infantry component of this long-running project. (Only one artillery battery left to paint, plus a leader stand!) Figures are Wargames Foundry 28mm, sculpted by Alan ...

Re: Mustering the troops

Currently I had to stop all my projects, on the sculpting front as well as on the painters front. As Bob pred...

Re: Yari Samurai

They are very nice indeed, Gunfreak. :D

Although interested in this period, one of the reasons I've never attempted to paint Samurai is I know I would go blind trying to paint all the gorgeous detail on the figures!

Your painting continues to improve by leaps and bounds, Gunfreak! :D

Next, you'll be adding facial 'blazes' and socks to your horses.
