Re: 3rd Russian Division c.1812

Those look very nice indeed, Stephen, and the freehand numbers on the cartridge pouches look great! I sympathise entirely with the challenge of head-swapping for shakos, but I couldn't stand to have them all wearing shapkas either. :)

Re: 18th Infantry Division, 3rd Army of the West

Hmm. Something oddly familiar about those chaps . . .

Congratulations, Günter, and hope you get to enjoy them in a game soon!

Many happy returns of the day, Colin! :D

I suspect your world record remains intact: the six generals down in your opening attack on Bautzen (Derby 2012) was legend!

Re: A question regarding the length of the flagpoles.

Hi Sergio. For 28mm figures I use flag poles of 60mm length for infantry, and 50mm for cavalry. Length does not include the 'finial' (ornament) on top of the poles. Use what seems to look best for your figures. :D

Re: French Horse Artillery c.1812

Nice result, Stephen, and I see you've done the leather 'inserts' on the trouser overalls. :D

I'm also painting Perry Figures gun crews at the moment . . . only in slightly greater quantity, as they are Russian (of course).
